WORCESTERSHIRE enter the final stages of their pre-season campaign tomorrow when they take on Minor Counties neighbours Herefordshire at New Road (11am).
After a disappointing start to their friendly matches which saw them thrashed twice by Warwickshire and go through the motions against Leicestershire for two days, Steve Rhodes' men were in the groove at Essex earlier this week.
With the domestic campaign set to get under way on Wed-nesday at Warwickshire, the New Road side will be looking for a comprehensive display.
New Australian seamer Steve Magoffin will get his first chance to impress since arriving in the country on Tuesday night, while Simon Jones continues to get the chance to put some valuable overs under his belt.
Having starred with both bat and ball at Chelmsford, Kabir Ali has been rested alongside the evergreen Graeme Hick.
Matt Mason, who has yet to play a pre-season friendly, misses out again. The Aussie-born strike bowler says he is fully recovered from the double shoulder operation that curtailed his campaign last year.
However, a slight side strain has prevented him from getting out on the pitch.
Today's game is scheduled for 50 overs and admission for is free.
Worcestershire: Davies (wkt), Solanki (capt), Moeen, Smith, Moore, Mitchell, Batty, Andrew, S Jones, Magoffin, Mehraj.
