BRYCE Heem is confident “outstanding” wing Josh Adams will pick up from where he left off when he returns to Worcester Warriors’ side.

After the highs of making his debut for Wales in the Six Nations, Adams has been training at Sixways ahead of tomorrow’s Aviva Premiership clash with Gloucester (3pm).

Adams made his first outing at the Principality Stadium in Wales’ 34-7 victory over Scotland before starting in their 12-6 defeat to England at Twickenham.

But Heem said the 22-year-old’s persona around Warriors had "not changed at all” since representing his country as he looks to fight for the club’s cause.

“Josh is quite a proud Welshman and he said he loved every minute of representing his country, especially in his first test at Cardiff,” Heem said.

“But I don’t think he has changed at all.

“Around the club and the rugby environment we like to keep people level headed so if you do get too big-headed you will know about it as the boys will get stuck into you. But Josh has been fine.”

Adams has scored 13 tries in 17 games for Warriors this season and Heem expects him to continue his hot streak.

“Josh has been in outstanding form and there is no doubt he will carry that on,” Heem said.

“We did miss him at Exeter last week, but I thought Dean Hammond filled his shoes.”
