Warriors.

8 Pennell – caused Gloucester problems with his direct running and landed an important long-range penalty kick with 14 minutes to go.

8 Heem – although his barren run for a try continued he was another major threat with ball in hand for Warriors, making several powerful surges.

7 Willison – created the opening for Shillcock’s try with a superb offload and was solid in defence and attack all afternoon.

8 Mills – made more tackles than any other player (21) and showed his vision with a stunning long, looping pass to set up Adams for his try.

9 ADAMS – proved his international quality with a superb all-round display as he bagged his 14th try of the season and defended brilliantly until the death. My man of the match.

7 Shillcock – took his try well and was involved in numerous good attacking moves but did not always deliver when he kicked out of hand.

8 Arr – celebrated his testimonial day in style as he scored a try, set up another and guided Warriors to victory over local rivals Gloucester.

7 Waller – carried well as he almost crossed the whitewash and put in some big tackles before being replaced by Bower.

7 Singleton – despite seeing a couple of line-out throws snatched in the second half the hooker could not have given any more.

7 Schonert – was immovable at scrum-time as Warriors won all seven of their put-ins and was mobile in the loose as he got around the field.

6 O’Callaghan – showed his leadership when he urged the referee to stop play and help a dizzy Lewis off the field but then proceeded on giving the officials an earful.

6 Barry – was part of a malfunctioning line-out in the second period and made the odd mistake but refused to let anyone get past him late on.

6 Denton – back in the side after representing Scotland, the back rower made a few useful carries but also made some uncharacteristic errors.

6 Lewis – looked dizzy as he left the pitch after a bang on the head and did not return but his replacement Fa’osiliva made a big impact.

7 van Velze – let the ball slip from his grasp as Scott pounced and scored but more than made amends with a strong performance.
