POTENT wing Josh Adams was recognised for his stellar season for Worcester Warriors at this year’s Premiership Rugby Awards.

The Wales international shared the Top Try Scorer award with Newcastle Falcons’ Vereniki Goneva after both players finished the season with 13 tries.

He was also named in the BT Sport Dream Team, but missed out on the Land Rover Discovery of the Season accolade which was won by Exeter Chiefs’ Sam Simmonds.

Warriors hooker Jack Singleton’s score at Leicester Tigers was nominated for Citizen Try of the Season.

But Newcastle ace Sinoti Sinoti’s sensational solo effort against Exeter came out on top in the public vote.

It was a memorable night for Falcons as Goneva landed the Aviva Premiership Rugby Player of the Season prize and his boss Dean Richards picked up the Ricoh Director of Rugby of the Season award.

Saracens’ Owen Farrell clinched the Gilbert Golden Boot, while Wasps’ Josh Bassett and Harlequins’ Mark Lambert picked up the Singha 7s Player of the Season and Aviva Community Player of the Season awards respectively.
