Gemma Arterton was struck with an embarrassing condition while she was shooting Clash Of The Titans.
The British actress, who plays Zeus' lover Io in the Louis Leterrier remake alongside Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson, was left with scars and cuts after filming.
"I've still got scars on my knees from when I was filming Clash Of The Titans - we were up a volcano and there was like gravelly sort of floor and I had to roll down a hill and it was called the 'Clash rash'; everyone ended up getting it, just cuts all over themselves," she said.
But rather than moaning about the injuries, Gemma - who told how she loved being able to take part in the action scenes and tried to do all her own stunts - is proud to show them off as battle scars.
"It was good though. It was kind of like marks to show how hard I worked, on my knees. They are there forever," she added.
:: Clash Of The Titans will be released on April 2.
