BAINBRIDGE David Passed away on Sunday 30th June 2013 Aged 71 years. Sadly missed by family and friends. Funeral service to take place on Friday 12th July 2013 at Stourbridge Crematorium at 12.20pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired for the Durnall and Deansley Units, New Cross Hospital.

I was a students of David's between 1982 and 1985. I was really saddened to hear of his passing and had no idea until recently that Dave was no longer with us.
Dave was a fabulous person for me to encounter at Stourbridge. He influenced me significantly, and I owe an enormous debt to Dave who posed the right questions at the right time to help develop a sense of intellectual enquiry and curiosity. To me Dave was a totally authentic man, and one who I would hold up as an example of a truly fine gentleman.
