DARBY Doug Gill and her family would like to thank everyone who attended Doug's funeral at Wollaston Free Church on Tuesday 23rd October and for all the beautiful cards and messages of sympathy that she has received. She would also like to say a huge thank you for the generous donations that have been received for the Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth to Rev Peter Williams, for conducting the service and her friends at Church who helped on the day. Also for their continuing love and support. Thanks also go to the staff at Ashgrove Nursing Home, Netherton, and also the staff of Ward C7, Russell's Hall Hospital who cared for Doug in such a kind way in the final days and hours of his life. Finally thanks go to H. Porter & Sons who arranged the funeral, but especially to Francesca for her work on the service sheets and Philip for his personal kindness and care to Gill during such a difficult time.
