HARINGEY COUNCIL - PUBLIC NOTICE FIELD DAY FESTIVAL MERIDIAN WAY/WATERMEAD WAY, LEESIDE ROAD, CYGNET WAY, ASHLEY ROAD AND MARSH LANE, N17 TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES AND OTHER ASSOCIATED TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES

1. The Council of the London Borough of Haringey hereby gives notice that, having consulted with the London Borough of Enfield and Transport for London and to facilitate the holding of a special event it intends to make an Order under Section 16(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.



2. The general effect of the Order, in association with the provision of vehicular prohibitions and restrictions to facilitate the staging of the event, would be as set out in the following schedule:

Suspension of the Northumberland Park Rail depot bus stop on the east side of Watermead Way and temporary reduction of lane width Closure at its junction with Watermead Way, except for licensed hackney carriages and

3. Permit parking and access: A temporary controlled parking zone will be operating in Marigold Road, Marsh Lane, Sedge Road and Garmin Road from 12 noon on the 7th June 2019 until 5.00 am on the 9th June 2019 for vehicles bearing the appropriate valid permit issued by the London Borough of Haringey. Access



to these roads during the road closure periods will also be managed by the same permit system and will be directed by proceeding northwards from Willoughby Road, eastwards into Leeside Road then southwards into Watermead Way. Permits should be clearly displayed at all times. It is anticipated that the Tottenham Event Day controlled parking zone controls will also apply in these roads on the 7th and 8th of June 2019.

4. Parking restrictions: Waiting and loading except by authorised vehicles will be prohibited in the lengths of Meridian Way/Watermead Way, Leeside Road, Ashley Road and Cygnet Way specified in Paragraph 2 of this Notice, during the period from 5th June to 9th June 2019 where on-street signing indicates this.



5. The prohibitions and restrictions specified in this Notice shall only apply during such times and to such extent as may be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and when directed by a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer.
