Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Middle Lane (Part), Cherhill; from its property known as 19 Middle Lane for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a westerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out a new connection. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County of Wiltshire (Malmesbury and Malmesbury Without) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2017 (Amendment No. 4) Order 2019 Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Malmesbury and Malmesbury Without Consolidation Order 2017 by revoking Map Schedule Nos AW40 and AX40 both dated 21/08/2017 and Map Schedule No AY42 dated 27/05/2019 and replacing them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos AW40, AX40 and AY42 and the insertion of new Map Schedule Nos BA43, BA44 and BB43 the effect of which will be as follows: To introduce No waiting at any time on the following lengths of road:- Athelstan Road - both sides - from its junction with St Aldhelm Road to a point 10 metres south west of that junction; Lipman Way - south side - from its junction with St Bernard Lovell Road to a point 35 metres west of that junction; Sir Bernard Lovell Road - north west side - from its junction with the B4042 Swindon Road to a point 11 metres north east of that junction; Sir Bernard Lovell Road - south east side - from its junction with the B4042 Swindon Road to a point 27 metres north west of that junction; Sir Bernard Lovell Road - west side - from its junction with Lipman Way to a point 30 metres south of that junction; St Aldhelm Road - south west side - from a point 15 metres south east of its junction with Athelstan Road to a point 19 metres north west of that junction. This Order which previously came into operation on 25 February 2019 will now recommence on 25 September 2019 and the closure will be until 08 October 2019.
