Notice of Making an Order Public Path Extinguishment and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 and Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 The Wiltshire Council Melksham Without Path no.41 (Part) Extinguishment and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2019

The above order, made on 25 September 2019, under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, will extinguish that part of the width of the public right of way, (currently recorded as Bridleway no. 41 Melksham Without and unrecorded rights for the public with non-mechanically propelled vehicles), at Snarlton Farm, Melksham Without (Brown's Lane), running from OSGR ST 9226-6372 in a south-easterly direction for approx 290m to OSGR ST 9252-6359, having a width varying between 9m and 42m as shown shaded grey on the order plan. If confirmed the order will also have the effect of modifying the Bradford and Melksham Rural District Council area definitive map and statement dated 1952 accordingly. A copy of the order and map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Rights of Way and Countryside, Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 8JN from 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday. Copies may be bought there at the price of £5. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to J Green, Senior Definitive Map Officer at the address given above not later than 5pm on 1 November 2019. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Wiltshire Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for I confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 42 (Part), Bratton;from its junction with Imber Road for a distance of approximately 180 metres in an easterly direction to enable Lake dredging and moving of silt. Alternative routes: via EDIN36 - BRAT42 (unaffected length) - Imber Road and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 28 October 2019 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for 08 weeks. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Spring Lane, Corsham; from its junction with Westwells for a distance of approximately 300 metres in a north westerly direction to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works. No alternative route is available;access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will come into operation on 07 October 2019 and the closure will be required daily between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 until 08 October 2019. B) Woodrow Road, Melksham and Melksham Without; from is junction with Forest Road to its junction with Lower Woodrow; C) Lower Woodrow, Melksham Without; from its junction with Woodrow Road to its junction with Forest Lane; D) Forest Lane, Melksham Without and Lacock; from its junction with Lower Woodrow to its junction with Bowden Hill to enable Ringway to carry out repairs to the culvert under the carriageway. Alternative route: via C155 - A342 - A3102 - Church Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 October 2019 and the closure will be required daily until 18 October 2019. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
