The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 31/10/2019 quoting the reference number. All views expressed regarding a planning application will be considered and placed on a file, which is open to the public.

It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) North Down Road, Donhead St Mary; from its junction with Jenkins Corner to its junction with Harts Hill to enable Eurovia to carry out carriageway resurfacing, road marking adjustment of ironworks and surface dressing. Alternative route: via Harts Hill -Gutch Common - Britmore Lane - Church Hill and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 06 November 2019 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 until 08 November 2019. This Order will come into operation on 08 November 2019 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 until 11 November 2019. This Order will come into operation on 04 November and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 until 05 November 2019. This Order will come into operation on 05 November 2019 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 until 06 November 2019. Road - Shute End and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 04 November 2019 and the closure will be required daily between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for one day. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: G) Hamptworth Road, (Part), Landford; from its junction with B3097 Lyndhurst Road to its junction with Lyburn Road; H) Hamptworth Road (Part), Landford; from its junction with Lyburn Road for a distance of approximately 430 metres in a westerly direction to enable Openreach to safely access underground structure to carry out fibre cabling for customer connections. Alternative route: via Hamptworth Road (unaffected length) - Timberley Lane -Grove Lane - B3080 - B3078 - B3079 and vice versa. Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that on 1 October 2019 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act of 1984") and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which is to introduce No Waiting at any time on Old Southampton Road - both sides - from a point 14 metres north of its junction with Tozer Way for a distance of 30 metres in a southerly direction; Tozer Way - south side - from its junction with Old Southampton Road for a distance of 38 metres in a westerly direction; Tozer Way - north side - from its junction with Old Southampton Road for a distance of 5 metres in a westerly direction. A copy of the Order and plan may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the Act of 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 14 October 2019.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to introduce a temporary No Waiting at Any Time restriction applying to both sides of the following length of road: Stephenson Road, Salisbury; from its junction with Churchfields Road for a distance of approximately 400 metres in a southerly direction to enable Tarmac to carry out Carriageway reconstruction, resurfacing, patching works, kerbing & footway works along with road marking and adjustment of ironworks. This Order is made to ensure public safety during the period of the Carriageway reconstruction takes place. This Order will come into operation on 17 October 2019 and will be required until 18 November 2019. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
