Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(C2196 Buckeridge Lane, Rock)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Order Made: to close that part of C2196 Buckeridge Lane from its junction with U10004 Pound Bank to its junction with A456 Tenbury Road.
Reason: Footway Reconstruction Works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A456 Tenbury Road, A4117 Cleobury Road, U10004 Pound Bank and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
9 days. Commencing: 20 May 2020


(C2131 Kinlet Road, Rock)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Order made: to close that part of C2131 Kinlet Road from its junction with A4117 Cleobury Road for a distance of 1800 metres in a north-westerly direction.
Reason: Surface Dressing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Kinlet Road (Shropshire County), Sturt Lane (Shropshire County), B4199 (Shropshire County), B4363 (Shropshire County), B4201 (Shropshire County), A4117 (Shropshire County), A4117 Cleobury Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 days. Commencing: 19 May 2020


(C2131 Ranters Bank, Rock)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Order made: to close that part of C2131 Ranters Bank from its junction with A4117 Cleobury Road to its junction with C2131 Beach Hay.
Reason: Surface Dressing by WCC.
Exemptions:to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion route, C2131 Beach Hay, C2131 Clows Top, B4202 Clows Top B4202 (Shropshire County), A4117 (Shropshire County), A4117 Cleobury Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 days. Commencing: 20 May 2020


(C2196 Buckeridge Bank, Rock)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Order Made: to close that part of C2196 Buckeridge Bank from its junction with C2131 Ranters Bank to its junction wit U10004 Pound Bank.
Reason: Surface Dressing Works
Exemptions:to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U10004 Pound Bank, A4117 Cleobury Road, C2131 Ranters Bank and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 9 days Commencing: 20 May 2020


(B4188 Hackmans Gate Lane, Broome)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020
Order made: to close that part of B4188 Hackmans Gate Lane from its junction with B4188 Hartle Lane to its junction with A450 Worcester Road. Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions:to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Westbound Diversion: B4188 Hartle Lane, A491 Stourbridge Road (Northbound), A456 Hagley Roundabout, A456 Kidderminster Road, A456 Worcester Road, A450 Worcester Road. Eastbound Diversion: A450 Worcester Road, A456 Worcester Road, A456 Kidderminster Road, A456 Hagley Roundabout, A491 Stourbridge Road (Southbound), B4188 Hartle Lane.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days. Commencing: 18 May 2020


(A451 South of Kidderminster) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2011 (Revocation) and (A451 Kidderminster and Stourport) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2020
On 30 April 2020 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to update the 40mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Kidderminster as follows:-
A451 from a point 100 metres south west of its junction with B4194 Pearl Lane for adistance of410 metres in a generally north easterly direction; from a point 120 metres south of its junction with Walter Nash Road West, northwards to a point 30 metres north of its junction with the Vale Road Industrial Estate access road.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 21 May 2020.
