TEST VALLEY BOROUGH COUNCIL Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2012 (as amended) Regulation 18 Preparation of a Local Plan Refined Issues and Options consultation for the next Local Plan Test Valley Borough Council has published for public participation its Refined Issues and Options document. This is the second stage of preparing the next Local Plan, which follows the Issues and Options consultation in 2018. As a non statutory 'stepping stone' stage this Refined Issues and Options document sets out:
Test Valley Borough Council has published for public participation its Refined Issues and Options document. This is the second stage of preparing the next Local Plan, which follows the Issues and Options consultation in 2018. As a non statutory 'stepping stone' stage this Refined Issues and Options document sets out:

* What has happened recently and what is currently underway which is of relevance

* Headline feedback from Issues and Options consultation (held in 2018)

* The issues which we will be focusing on in preparing the next Local Plan. This includes meeting housing need, addressing climate change and supporting the economy

The outcome of the consultation will inform the next draft Local Plan Preferred Approach (Regulation 18) consultation, which will set out the Council's future vision and strategy for the Borough, the overall scale of development, proposed locations for development allocations, and policies which will be used in determining planning applications. The Local Plan will cover the administrative area of Test Valley Borough Council except for that part within the New Forest National Park. If and when adopted it will form part of the Local Development Framework (LDF) for the area. A copy of the Refined Issues and Options consultation for the next Local Plan, is available on the Council's website

Only those representations that are made in writing to arrive at the address specified above (either hard copy or electronically) within the 8 week period between Friday 3 July 2020 and ending at 16:30 on Friday 28 August 2020 will have the right to have their representations considered. Any representations should specify the matters to which the relate and the grounds on which they are made.
