Concerning additional further information that has been submitted in respect of the Environmental Statement for the following planning application, Publicity for applications for planning permission, Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 (as amended), The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure, Listed Buildings And Environmental Impact Assessment) (England) (Coronavirus) (Amendment) Regulations 2020, Notice under Article 15(3) of application for planning permission accompanied by an Environmental Statement, Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990, Application notin accordance with provision ofthe DevelopmentPlan Application ref: 18/000036/CM Applicant: Salop Sand & Gravel Proposal: Proposed extension to restored quarry, infilling the void using inert materials only, restoration of the land to agricultural use together with new access, creation of a geological exposure, landscaping and associated works -Amended Application Location: Land adjacent to former Chadwich Lane Quarry, Chadwich Lane, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire

I give notice that on 23 April 2020 and 3 July 2020 the applicant wrote to Worcestershire County Council submitting additional further information regarding thewaterenvironmentinrespectoftheEnvironmental Statement for the above proposed development. The County Council are now seeking comments on this additional further information. To overcome objections from the Environment AgencyandNorthWorcestershireWaterManagement, the applicant has amended the scheme as follows: amended phasing; reduction in the depth of mineral extraction from approximately 154 metres Above Ordnance Datum (AOD) to approximately 162 metres AOD; amended extent of mineral extraction to create a deeper and wider on-site surface water attenuation area; and increase in the amountofmineral extraction from approximately 1.28 million tonnes to approximately1.35 million tonnes. On 5 October 2018 Salop Sand & Gravel applied to Worcestershire County Council for planning permission for the above proposal. The application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement. The proposed development does not accord with the provisions ofthedevelopmentplan as theproposal is not located within an identified preferred area for sand and gravel extraction within The County of Hereford and Worcester Minerals Local Plan (April 1997), and the application site is located within the Green Belt. The development would affect Public Rights of Way (Footpaths BB-594, 595,596) and may affect the setting of Listed Buildings. The County Council sought comments on this planning application between 17Octoberand23 November2018;12Juneand12July 2019; and 2 October and 1 November 2019.
