Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: a) Pink Lane (Part), Charlton; from its junction with Brickyard Hill for a distance of approximately 1.90 kilometres in an easterly direction; b) Pink Lane (Part), Charlton; from its junction with Sundays Hill for a distance of approximately 60 metres in a northerly direction; c) Pink Lane (Part), Charlton; from its junction with Eighty Acres for a distance of approximately 700 metres in a westerly direction to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out excavation works to lay cable build chamber and cabinets. Alternative route (a) and (b): via Pink Lane (unaffected length) - Park Lane - Brickyard Hill and vice versa. Alternative route (c): via Queen Street - Somerford Common Lane -Braydonside - Sundays Hill - Pink Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 19 October 2020 and the closures will be required until 06 November 2020. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: a) Footpath 7, Erlestoke; from its junction with B3098 to its junction with Footpath 10, Erlestoke; b) Footpath 10, Erlestoke; from its junction with Footpath 7, Erlestoke to its junction with Pear Tree Lane to enable Euroforest LTD to carry out tree works. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This notice which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on 28 September 2020 and the closures will be required as follows: a) 28 September 2020 for 9 weeks; b) 28 September until 04 October 2020. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County of Wiltshire (Calne and Calne Without) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2015 (Amendment No.6) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Calne and Calne Without Consolidation Order 2015 by revoking Map Schedule Nos. CY55, DA53, DB54 and DF56 dated 6 February 2015 and Map Schedule No. DC54 dated 22 June 2020 and replacing them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) B4643 Melksham Road (Part), Chippenham; from its junction with A4 to its junction with Coppice Close to enable Wessex Water to carry out new water mains connection. Alternative route: via B4643 (unaffected length) - A350
