Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 27 October 2017 quoting the reference number. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
(a) Great Chalfield Road (Part), Atworth; for a

distance of approximately 50m either side of Lenton Bridge to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out bridge reconstruction and associated works. Alternative route via Great Chalfield Road (unaffected length) - C212
Combe Lane - C231 Little Chalfield Road - C224 Leigh
Road - Summer Lane - Chalfield Road - Great Chalfield Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 30 October 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 22 December 2017. (b) Blackmore Road (Part), Melksham; from its junction with Queensway to its junction with Vincent Close; (c) Westbury View (Part), Melksham; from its junctionwith BlackmoreRoadtoitsjunction withCotswold Close to enable Wessex Water to undertake work for a new sewer network. Alternative routes: (b) via Blackmore Road (unaffected length) -Sandridge Road - Queensway and viceversa; (c) via WestburyView(unaffected length)-Foresters Park Road -Ingram Road -Blackmore Road and vice versa. Closures (b) and (c) will be implemented in consecutive phases and will not operate concurrently. ThisOrder will comeinto operation on 1 November 2017 and it is anticipated that the closures will continue until 31 March 2018. given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (e) A3098 (Part) Tower Hill, Dilton Marsh; from its junction with Hisomley to a point approximately 80m northeast of its junction with Honey Lane to enable BT Openreach to carry out cabling works. Alternative route via A3098 (unaffected length) -A350 - A36 - A3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 9 October 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 26 October 2017. For further information please contact Michelle Fuller (Hire-A-Lite on behalf of BT Openreach) on 08443 329009. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of some of the works. The Orders will have a maximum duration of18 months.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Trowbridge) (20mph Speed Limit Zone)
Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that on 26 September 2017 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to introduce a 20mph speed limit zone on Eagle Park, Falcon Drive, Hummingbird Gardens, Mallard Close - the complete lengths; Sparrow Street - from a point 10 metres south of its junction with Hummingbird Gardens to a point 30 metres north of its northern junction with Falcon Drive. A copy of the Order and plan may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powersoftherelevantSection ofthe above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
