The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 26/04/2018 quoting the reference number. All views expressed regarding a planning application will be considered and placed on a file, which is open to the public.

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Dinton Road (Part), Wylye; for a distance of approximately 30m either side of the railway level crossing to enable Centurion Site Services to undertake tamping works at the level crossing. Alternative route via Dinton Road (unaffected length) - Dinton Beeches - Wylye Road - Marshwood - Steep Hollow -St. Mary's Road - B3089 Hindon Road/The Street - Teffont Magna - Cow Drove - Chilmark Road -A303 - Town's End/Teapot Street/Dyer Lane/Fore Street - Dinton Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 2 May 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one night between the hours of 23.00 and 05.00. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (b) New Road (Part), Donhead St. Andrew; from its junction with Scott's Hill for a distance of approximately 290m in a southerly direction to enable BT Openreach to undertake work on the overhead structure. Alternative route via Scott's Hill -Wardour Lane - New Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on
8 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day between the hours of 08.00 and 16.00. For further information please contact A-Plant Lux (on behalf of BT Openreach) on 03700500792; (c) C25 High Street (Part), Ansty; from its junction with Blind Lane to its junction with Kings Lane to enable BT Openreach to work safely on underground structure. Alternative route via High Street (unaffected length) - Yule Hill - Rookery Lane - A30 - Ansty Pond - High Street (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 9 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30 until 11 April 2018. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (d) C42 (Part) Stratford Bridge, Durnford and Woodford; from its junction with C294 North Hill Down/C42 Stratford Road for a distance of approximately 180m in a westerly direction to enable Ringway to undertake works for bridge deck waterproofing. Alternative route via C42 Woodford Valley/Lower Woodford/Middle Woodford C292 Upper Woodford - C294 Netton/Beech Walk, Salterton/Little Durnford/North Hill Down and vice versa. This Order, which previously came into operation on 12 March 2018, will now recommence on 9 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for four weeks. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are possible due to the nature of some of the works.
