Order made: to close that part of C2126 Churchill Lane, Kidderminster from its junction with C2061 Rocky
Lane to its junction with C2161 Waggon Lane in order
to facilitate works for the installation of broadband
by Barden Network.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2016 Rocky Lane, A451
Stourbridge Road, C2126 Waggon Lane and vice versa.
HGV Diversion: C2126 Churchill Lane, A456
Birmingham Road, A449 Chester Road North, A449
Stourbridge Road, A451 Stourbridge Road, C2061

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
5 days: Commencing: 2 April 2018.

Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2018
[Prohibition of Waiting on Stoney Lane,
On 15 March 2018 Worcestershire County Council
made an Order the effect of which will prohibit
waiting at any time on the following length and side
of road in Kidderminster:
Stoney Lane (north side) from a point 14 metres south
east of its junction with Stourvale Drive for a distance
of 40 metres in a south easterly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order
(which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions
of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will
contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain
purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’
The Order will come into operation on 5 April 2018.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of
Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at
Wyre Forest District Council, Customer Service Centre,
Vicar Street, Kidderminster, DY10 1DB, and County Hall,
Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal
The validity of the Council’s powers in making the
Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by
application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the
date on which the Order was made.
