TWO of the Stourbridge’s greatest ever musical assets are to play special acoustic sets at an upcoming Black Country festival.

Miles Hunt, singer/songwriter of the hugely popular The Wonder Stuff, will headline Banstock 2018 which is being held in the gardens of the Wolverhampton’s beautiful Bantock House Museum.

He will be joined on the bill by Jonn Penney and Rat – singer and guitarist from fellow Stourbridge band Ned’s Atomic Dustbin in the guise of ‘Ned’s Acoustic Dustbin’.

The two bands are fresh off their joint 12-date ‘Love From Stourbridge’ tour which sold out venues across the UK.

While in support are Black Country acts The Wild Flowers, Two Faced Tom & The Bootleg Boys, Jess Silk, The Humdrum Express, Tasha Jerawan and Sam Draisey.

The event, on Saturday, July 7, will have the feel of a family friendly garden party, with doors opening at 3pm.

Tickets priced at £16.84 are on sale now from www.wolvescivic.co.uk.
