FANS of AOR or soft rock turned out for this gig by an ever-popular band who celebrate the music of two of the finest exponents of that art, Foreigner and Journey.
Although the bands have each sold in excess of 80 million albums, on British radio listeners generally get to hear one or two familiar tracks that made it big in the UK, where US radio listeners can almost expect to hear the whole back catalogue.
Starting with this reviewer's favourite from Journey 'Separate Ways (Worlds Apart), they swept through the greatest hits of both bands with some rockier numbers supported by the familiar power ballads and melodic radio-friendly songs that made both bands millionaires.
The band has an ever-changing line-up and currently has a new lead singer who did struggle a little bit at times to make himself heard but with the quality of the calibre of Lou Gramm and Steve Perry to emulate - this was never going to be easy.
But from someone who has seen a lot of tribute bands, this one was very good and that is from someone who has seen both Foreigner and Journey twice and consider them to be two of the best bands of all time.
