AN intoxicating mix of traditional and modern Cuban dance styles are being showcased in the Midlands this week.

The high-energy production Vamos Cuba! sees salsa, mambo, rumba, cha-cha-cha and reggaeton all being danced on the Birmingham Hippodrome stage.

Performed by a band led by Julito Padron, the show features a cast of the most sizzling dancers Cuba has to offer, letting audiences experience the joyous spirit of Havana as the production reveals contemporary Cuban culture through a mix of music and dance.

Choreographed by Nilda Guerra, Vamos Cuba! is a new co-production between Sadler’s Wells, Blancon Productions, Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg and Birmingham Hippodrome.
