Formed in 1977, the society - called KLOS for short - started out with the aim of presenting a yearly musical in the village - but has since gone on to stage three shows a year, making regular donations to charity.
It's very first outing was the King and I - and now more than 80 shows on it is presenting the loverly' rags to riches tale about how Professor Henry Higgins transforms humble flower girl Eliza Dolittle into a lady for a bet.
My Fair Lady runs at Edgecliff School Theatre from Monday May 7 to Saturday May 12.
Tickets are available from Jean Mills on 0845 658 8083.
Anyone interested in joining the society can call membership secretary Andrea Spaull on 01384 872116.
