A UNIQUE live-action dinosaur adventure launches in the West Midlands next week, taking visitors back in time to an experience that combines theatre, theme park fun and the latest science.
Opening at the NEC on Saturday, June 24, Dinosaurs in the Wild reveals a scientific research station called TimeBase 67, built 67 million years ago in the late Cretaceous Period.
The exhibition weaves live sets together with cutting-edge computer-generated imagery and animatronics to create a believable prehistoric world, where visitors will feel as though they are really there, in the time of the dinosaurs.
There is a dazzling array of over two thousand vials and jars of amazing items, like dinosaur tissue samples, eyeballs, brains, teeth and claws.
Tickets for Dinosaurs in the Wild can be booked online at www.dinosaursinthewild.com
Creative director Tim Haines, who produced the award-winning BBC TV series ‘Walking with Dinosaurs’, said: “With Dinosaurs in the Wild, we wanted to create an immersive experience that takes visitors back in time, using the latest in technology to portray the incredible detailing of the creatures and their surroundings.
“It will truly change people’s understanding of how dinosaurs looked.”
