Kinver Rotary Club has begun a membership recruitment drive, headed by Rtn Clive Roseblade, who is arranging a new members evening in January.
He says: "Although we are having this special event in January, anybody from the area who is interested in knowing more about our club need not wait until then. Just give me a call."
Kinver Rotary Club meets each Monday evening at The Fox at Stourton. Clive Roseblade may be contacted on 07773 414930.
Peter Suddock, managing director of Dudley Zoo, was the guest speaker at last week's meeting of the club.
Members and their wives were given an illustrated talk on the extensive improvements that have been made to the facility, and an insight into the plans for making an even bigger local attraction.
The meeting was chaired by president John Fraser and Rtn Mike Aston gave the vote of thanks.
