A CORONATION Street celebrity called at Stourbridge College to meet a star student and present her with a VIP prize.

Actor Antony Cotton, who plays Sean Tully in the TV soap, paid a visit to the Hagley Road campus to take part in the college's biggest ever open day.

Beacon Radio DJ Ed Nell was also on hand to help present prizes including a laptop computer to the winner of the station's VIP student competition.
