The chairman along with caretaker boss Colin Brookes were also hoping for a large backing from the terraces this Saturday when they hope to put an end to three defeats on the trot.

Saturday's 1-0 defeat away to Mangotsfield United followed by a 2-0 defeat at Stamford on Tuesday now leave the Yeltz in 16th position and perilously close to the relegation zone.

Brookes who's filling in as temporary boss at The Grove for the third time believes the fans can play a big part in turning the team's poor run of form around on Saturday.

He said: "I'm urging all those people who care about the club to get down to the Grove on Saturday and get behind the team and try and push us forward because that is what I have told the players.

"We will be treating it as a mini cup final so we all need to stay positive during these difficult times."

Brookes is hopeful of having a full squad at his disposal with Jermaine Clarke, Nick Amos and Paul Szewczyk all near to full fitness.
