A TWISTED Brierley Hill family man hid a perverted secret collection of thousands of sick child-porn images.

Vile Stuart Milne has been jailed for 32 months after Wolverhampton Crown Court heard he built up a library of more than 12,000 indecent photographs and films of youngsters.

Warren Stanier, prosecuting, said Milne, aged 51, also shared some of his pornography and "chatted with like-minded people about sexual activity with children".

He said the images found on computers seized from Milne involved babies and young boys aged up to 12, while he also had stories involving the rape of children.

Mr Stanier described Milne as a married family man but added he was part of a network that involved file sharing and passed on some of his warped collection to other internet users.

Judge Amjad Nawaz told Milne the ages of the victims was a "worrying aspect of the case" as he stressed only an immediate jail sentence was appropriate for the crimes.

Milne, of Bent Street, admitted ten charges of making indecent photographs of children and four of distributing the material.

He was further told he must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Mr Stanier added police recovered a total of 12,175 indecent images from Milne's computer and they were at all levels including five - the worst category.

He said Milne made available a total of 76 images to other internet users and they involved levels one, two, three and four.

Samantha Powis for Milne, a man of previous good character, said her client was extremely remorseful for his actions and stressed there was no suggestion he "had abused or was likely to abuse children".

She added: "He committed the offences in isolation as a result of unresolved issues in his own childhood. There is a willingness to respond to proper treatment."

The judge further imposed an indefinite Sexual Offenders Protection Order on Milne who showed no reaction as he was lead away to begin his sentence.
