MARGOT James is backing a campaign by the Children’s Heart Federation which calls upon parents to watch for early warning signs of problems.
Think Heart aims to increase early diagnosis of children’s heart conditions.
Every year 5,000 babies are born with congenital heart disease, yet only a third are detected before birth.
The Stourbridge MP said: “Identifying these problems early on can have such a positive effect on their management in later life”.
