MARY Stevens Hospice are hoping local schools and businesses will support them on Friday by staging a ‘Shorts and Shades Day’.
The Stourbridge based hospice has sent letters out to more than 100 schools asking them to adopt a dress down Friday.
They also want businesses around the borough to encourage staff to wear their summer clothes to work.
It is hoped everyone who takes part will donate £1 to the hospice which needs to raise £2.3million running costs each year.
