CLENT clubs will be joining forces once again to host their annual flower show this weekend.
Clent Gardening Club and Clent WI will be holding the 67th Clent Flower Show at Clent Parish Hall, Church Avenue, on Saturday September 7.
Cut flowers, plants, fruit and vegetables can be exhibited. There will also be classes for flower-arranging, bakery, preserves, eggs, crafts, photography - plus a separate children’s class.
Shirley Traves, gardening club publicity officer, said: “We hope it will be the usual success. We hope to see all members, friends of members or any interested parties on the day as there will be lots to see and do.”
There will also be home-made cakes for sale on the day plus a raffle.
Doors open to the public at 2pm and the official opening ceremony will be at 3pm, followed by an auction of home produce at 4pm.
The event is an open show and non-members are invited to enter.
All exhibits must be entered at Clent Parish Hall before 11am on show day.
