KINVER Twinning Association is desperately seeking host families to take in French visitors over the Easter holiday.
Due to changes to holiday plans this year – the group has not been able to find enough people free to put up guests from the French town of Mer in the Loire Valley which Kinver is twinned with.
The French guests are due to visit the South Staffordshire village from April 19 to 25 and during their trip they will stop off at various tourist destinations – to which host families will also be invited.
Twinning association press secretary Chris Baker said: “We’re looking for host families to take in between one and three people. It’s a very good way to get to know a different culture.
“We’ve got members in Kinver and surrounding areas including Stourbridge, Halesowen and Kidderminster – but because it’s Easter a lot of people are away.”
