SPIRITED staff from two popular Stourbridge venues will be stepping out next month to try and raise money for Children in Need.
They will be attempting to climb Snowdon and back on September 29 in a bid to boost funds.
Staff from The Bell pub and nightclub in Market Street will join forces for the venture with restaurant The Crown at Iverley.
Chefs, bar staff, waitresses, DJs doormen and management have all agreed the take part in the trek.
The event has been arranged through Daniel Shillingford who is events organiser for both venues.
He said: "We've been supporting Children in Need for the past three years through our usual theme nights, parties and promotions.
"This time there was a desire to do something a bit more challenging.
"There were several options suggested, some of which included an assault course, but I feared that might frighten quite a few people off.
"The trek up Snowdon is expected to take seven and half hours as we've chosen the most difficult route and we will be encouraging our customers to help by sponsoring the staff.
"We've set a target of £2,000, but of course we'll be hoping to beat that total through our social media and we will be asking people to donate online."
