WORDSLEY singer-songwriter Ellisha Morris is hoping to wow judges when she takes part in the regional finals of the Open Mic UK 2014 competition this Saturday at Birmingham's LG Arena.
The musical multi-talented 15-year-old will be performing one of her own compositions where she sings and plays guitar.
Apart from being an accomplished guitarist - Ellisha, who attends Wordsley School, also plays drums and keyboard.
Proud mum Christina Morris said: "I've no idea where she gets her musical talent from as there's no musicians in the family. The rest of us can't even sing in tune."
Ellisha is already a member of both CHAOS and TAB Operatic Societies and also travels to London each week where she is part of West End Kids.
Ellisha will be accompanied on piano at Saturday's audition by Darryl Gayle - musical director of Dudley's Young One's Pantomine Company.
