A MOTORCYCLIST suffered serious leg injuries after a crash in Wollescote.
Paramedics were called to a field off Oakfield Road, at around 4.30pm yesterday (Sunday) to reports that a man in his late 20s had fallen from his vehicle.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The man had suffered an open fracture of his leg and received emergency treatment at the scene, including pain relief.
"Unfortunately, it appears the man was not wearing the appropriate safety clothing when the incident occurred.”
The man was taken to Russells Hall Hospital for further emergency treatment.
