POLICE are appealing for information after a car careered off the road and hit a tree in Hagley.
The smash happened on the A456 Kidderminster Road South, at 1.25am on Saturday (October 25).
A black Volkswagen Golf was travelling from Hagley towards Kidderminster when it left the road after going around an offside bend.
The 19-year-old driver was seriously injured but managed to climb out of the vehicle and onto the roof.
He was taken by ambulance to Worcester Royal for treatment.
Officers investigating the incident are anxious to hear from anyone who saw the collision or the circumstances leading up to it.
Witnesses should contact West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 53 of October 25, 2014.
