The autumn I Will wedding show season went out with a bang as almost 300 brides and grooms-to-be turned out for the final show.
The stunning Chateau Impney in Droitwich Spa was a spectacular venue for last Sunday’s event. Set in 155 acres of parkland, it boasts 100 en-suite bedrooms as well as function and events facilities for up to 1,000 guests.
Sixty five exhibitors showcased wedding products and services ranging from hand-crafted cakes and stylish menswear to classic cars and even a wedding singer.
Our sponsor for the event, Workhorse Wedding Photography (www.workhorseweddings.co.uk), kindly gave away a digital photography package worth £600.
The lucky prize winner was Linda Wilde of Worcester who is marrying Darren Clarke, who she met three years ago, in June 2015 at St Nicholas Church in Droitwich. A reception will follow at St Andrews Town Hotel, Droitwich.
Linda said: “I’ve never won anything before so it was a very, very nice surprise and a big expense covered – I’m thrilled to bits!”
Linda also attended the I Will show at St Andrews Town Hotel as she wanted to see the room laid out for a wedding.
She added: “I was very impressed with both of the wedding shows I attended – it was very enjoyable and I also managed to sneak a peek at the bridal suite which was lovely.”
All visitors to the Autumn I Will wedding shows were invited to enter a prize draw to win free room hire worth up to £850 at The Vale Golf Club in Evesham (www.thevalegolf.co.uk).
The prize was drawn at the Chateau Impney event and the lucky winner was Lynda Wright of Worcester who is planning to tie the knot with her partner Joanne Hannan.
