The Harris family have been a part of many people's lives in Blackheath over the years.
John and Lizzie established their furniture and reupholstery business nearly 60 years ago and the firm is now in the safe hands of sons Stephen and Paul.
And, as members of the Association of Master Upholsterers, the company has never been busier as they carry out work from far and wide.
Customers return to JT Harris impressed by the personal service offered by staff. Divan beds, three-piece suites and recliner and high-seater chairs are all on display at their showroom where friendly advice is offered free of charge.
John T Harris is certainly a familiar and well-respected name in Blackheath and Stephen and Paul are proud of their roots. And it is no coincidence that he business is now housed in the former Sunday School which the pair passed on their way to school.
