Best price, best choice, best servicealways - that's the promise to customers who visit the Geoff Hill Electrical and Gas Superstore located in the High Street in Amblecote, Stourbridge.

The store, which has now celebrated 45 years of quality trading, continues to go from strength to strength. It has earned an enviable reputation - combining excellent customer care with prices that can't be beaten on an extensive range of products.

Keith Hough, Managing Director said: "When people need a new washing machine or vacuum cleaner, they need it there and then - we always carry large amounts of stock, and if customers can't see what they need in the showroom, we can usually get it for them straight away".

The store stocks essential items such as kettles, toasters, irons and all major appliances as well as a wide range of the latest H D ready plasma and LCD digital TVs. Screen sizes start from 17" up to an incredible 70" to suit the needs and pockets of everyone.

If your purchase is too large, Geoff Hill's operate a FREE local delivery service 6 days a week so you certainly won't have to wait long!

Many of their products can also be installed in your home for a truly seamless service.

Appliances are available from leading manufacturers; including Sony, Dyson, Hotpoint, Toshiba, Bosch, Neff, Panasonic and Siemens.

As prices can usually be matched or beaten against any other retail store, you can rest assured that they are extremely competitive and even better - interest free credit is available on items over £200.

The family atmosphere is strong between the twenty staff employed at Geoff Hill.

Keith said: "Our staff do not work on a commission based salary and we do not try and push extended guarantees - we genuinely listen to each customer and try to meet their requirements with the right product. There is no big trick to this - we are genuine and passionate about our customer needs."

Founded in 1960, the company under the expert nurturing of Geoff Hill has developed into the successful store that it is today.

However Geoff's life wasn't always quite so orderly starting as it did in Brierley Hill and leading to an eclectic variety of jobs.

Spells selling encyclopaedias and Betterware were interspersed with selling gnomes around Devon seaside resorts! His autobiography 'From Rags to Riches' documents the life of this Black Country entrepreneur and charity fundraiser with proceeds from the sale of the book distributed between 6 local charities.

Copies are available in store for only £10 with purchases of £20 or more (normally £12.99).

The store is open Mon to Wed 9 - 6pm, Thurs & Fri 9 - 7pm, Saturdays 9 - 5.30pm, Sundays 10.30 - 4.30pm, with free parking close by.
