The feelings of yesterday had not left me; I still had lots of energy and wanted to fill the day with as much as possible. About nine of us piled into taxis and went to a place called Splendid China' which was a park with lots of shows and pageants in Traditional Chinese costume. There were lots of model villages and miniature of the Chinese Wall that stretched the entire length of the park. There was a mock battle of Mongolian Warriors on horse back but we had to be lifted into this area as again there was no ramp, again there were no shortage of helpers and were made extremely welcome! We left at around 7pm haling down taxis for our return journey to the hospital, a journey I never look forward to as there doesn't appear to be any rod courtesy, keep swapping and changing lanes, going through red lights oh, and the obligatory horn and making four lanes of traffic into five! But all in all a fantastic day out, where everyone assisted each other to make the day one not to forget!
