FIVE appliances from West Midlands Fire Service are attending a fire in a scrap yard in Kingswinford.

Firefighters from Bilston, Brierley Hill, Tipton and other stations were called to the scene in Oak Lane.

A spokesman from West Midlands Fire Service said: "We received the call at 5.34am this morning.

"We previously had five fire engines and 25 firefighters on site.

"It has now been reduced to three fire engines and 15 firefighters."

The fire has now been scaled down, three crews were still on site at 10.45am this morning damping down the site.
