A TALK about one of the most influential groups of the 18th century – the Lunar Society – will take place at the next meeting of the Amblecote History Society.
Speaker Andrew Lound presents his Odyssey dramatic presentation about the astronomical work of James Watt, Matthew Boulton and Joseph Priestley in the Furnace Theatre at The Ruskin Centre on Wednesday, October 14.
Starting at 7.30pm, the talk – costing £2 per person – is illustrated, accompanied by music and presented with 18th century flair.
