MONEY raised from an Easter raffle organised by Kingswinford and Stourbridge Lions will help to give a little girl with a rare condition a boost.
The Lions were moved to hear about the plight of Amblecote youngster Calla-Rose Cadman, who has a rare and potentially life-threatening form of epilepsy called Dravet Syndrome, and has opted to donate proceeds from its forthcoming raffle.
Members of the group will be selling tickets in Stourbridge’s Ryemarket shopping centre on Saturday March 5 from 11am to 4pm and at Barnett Hill Garden Centre, near Clent, on Saturday March 19 from 11am to 4pm.
The top prize is a super hero chocolate bunny and the second is a large 970g Easter egg.
Karen Rice, spokesman for the Kingswinford and Stourbridge Lions, said: “One of the prizes has been kindly sponsored by Hallowood Furniture in the Ryemarket.”
