GENEROUS Stourbridge shoppers donated more than £560 to a collection for the Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI).
Members of the RNLI’s Stourbridge branch were out and about in the town centre for a ‘flag day’ recently and were able to collect £560.02 as part of the event.
The Stourbridge RNLI regularly hold fundraising events to fund the training of volunteer crews at the New Quay lifeboat station.
The Mersey class lifeboat the “Frank and Lena Clifford of Stourbridge” has been on service at the station since 1992.
