BABIES and toddlers across Stourbridge will be hopping, skipping and jumping during their weekly class as they take part in a dance-a-thon in aid of baby charity Tommy’s.
Youngsters from babyballet Halesowen and Stourbridge will be sponsored to complete a Peppa Pig themed dance lesson during their class at Amblecote Wordsley Methodist Church tomorrow (Friday, October 21).
Little ones, between the ages of six months and four years will wear their tutus and go on an imaginary journey with Peppa and George Pig where they will become princes and princesses at Buckingham Palace where they will dance in front of the Queen.
Led by teacher Emma Skett, the dance-a-thon will raise money for Tommy’s vital research into stillbirth, premature birth and miscarriage, as well as the charity’s support for all parents-to-be to help them have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.
Together the 13,500 babyballet stars from across the country, the group aims to raise £100,000 for the children’s cause.
