BIG-HEARTED Hagley estate agents raised around £100 for good causes during a festive fundraiser.
Staff at Walton and Hipkiss in Worcester Road held a Bucks Fizz and Find The Key Game on Hagley’s Christmas lights switch on evening on November 24 to help pull in the pounds for charity.
Around £40 was raised for Mary Stevens Hospice in Stourbridge and between £50 and £60 for SARA (Severn Area Rescue Association), volunteers from which pulled Santa’s sleigh around the village during the festive fun event. In total, combined fundraising across the village meant £142 was raised for SARA.
The Christmas switch-on and late night shopping event in the village also included a nativity service in the church, a Santa parade and Find the Elf competition.
