THE opening of a new Kingswinford dessert store proved a sweet treat for Dudley South MP Mike Wood.
Conservative MP Mr Wood 'cut the ribbon' at the opening of Coco’s Dessert Factory in Charterfield Drive on Friday January 5 and welcomed the successful dessert business, which has stores in Wolverhampton and Derby, to the village.
He said: “I thoroughly enjoyed welcoming Coco’s Dessert Factory to Dudley South and it was lovely to see so many people supporting the latest small business to join our community.
“I even had the chance to try Coco’s signature cookie dough, which was very tasty.”
The new store sells a range of indulgent desserts including waffles, crepes, pancakes, ice-cream, cakes, cookie dough and shakes.
