A MAN has been taken to hospital after being stabbed with a ‘large axe or knife’ in Dudley last night (Saturday, February 10).
West Midlands Police is investigating a serious assault after a 20-year-old was stabbed in the arm outside the Chiquitos restaurant in Castle Gate yesterday.
Officers were called to the scene just after 10pm to a report of a hooded man attacking a man with what is described as a large axe or knife as he left the restaurant.
A police spokesman said: “The man was taken to hospital with an arm wound, where he remains today (Sunday, February 11).
“Enquiries remain on-going.”
