MORE than 400 people visited a picturesque Stourton garden over the recent Bank Holiday - raising more than £2,000 for charity.
Peter Brookes and his wife Jenny opened their ancient bluebell wood for the third year running.
Visitors to the Keeper's Cottage Bluebell Wood in Greensforge Lane raised a whopping £2,166, which will go to the National Gardens Scheme.
The sum brings the total tally raised by the couple to around £6,000 over the past three years.
The woodland comprises more than three acres of bluebells along the banks of Smestow Brook, close to the River Stour.
