A KINGSWINFORD lunch and social activity club for the elderly is holding two open days in July.
The ‘Break Away’ club, based at The Royal British Legion, Summerhill, is coming up to its first anniversary of opening.
The service provides hot meals and social opportunities for older people who are often lonely and isolated and also gives carers the opportunity for an often much needed break.
It is open on Mondays and Thursdays between the hours of 9am-4pm.
Open days are being held on Thursday, July 5 and Thursday, July 26 where older people and their carers are welcome to pop in for a visit to see the service and meet existing members and staff.
For further information, call Jenny Bates on 07487 404882 or just drop in.
