SWITCH your microwaves off – because unique Stourbridge band Pure Gold Babies are ending a near two-decade exile by reforming for a special one-off gig next week.
The group – known for gold body paint, UV’s and exploding microwaves on stage – are playing at the Robin 2 in Bilston on Monday night (August 6).
Pure Gold Babies are supporting headliners The Dickies, a group of punk-pop veterans from Los Angeles.
It will be the Babies’ first gig for 19 years – since 1999 when they also acted as the support act to The Dickies in Birmingham.
Lead vocalist Rav is looking forward to the show and said: "The set will be as explosive as ever, we have put in the old favourites as well as some special new tracks - don't miss it!"
